Film, Mekke’den Medine’ye annesini kurtarmak için bir yolculuğa çıkan genç tay Riyah ile yol üzerinde tanıştığı ihtiyar deve Jabal’ın, hicretin izlerini takip eden serüvenini konu ediniyor. Riyah, Mekke şehrinin zenginlerinden biri olan Ubey’in ahırında dünyaya gelir. Bir sabah annesine doğum günü için çiçek toplamaya çıkar. Ancak döndüğü zaman annesinin Medineli bir tüccara satıldığını öğrenir. Kendisi de Şamlı bir tüccara satılacaktır. Annesinden ayrılmak istemeyen Riyah, kaçar ve annesinin peşine düşmeye karar verir.

The film is about the adventure of the young colt Riyah, who went on a journey from Mecca to Medina to save his mother, and the old camel Jabal, whom he met on the way, following the traces of the emigration. Riyah was born in the barn of Ubey, one of the wealthy people of the city of Mecca. One morning, he goes out to pick flowers for his mother’s birthday. However, when he returns, he learns that his mother has been sold to a Medina merchant. He himself will be sold to a merchant from Damascus. Not wishing to be separated from her mother, Riyah runs away and decides to follow her mother.
