My Name is Koja

Synopsis

It is adapted from the story of the same name, published in 1957, which is one of the famous works of Kazakh children's literature. The film's main character is twelve-year-old Koja, a smart but also mischievous child who grew up without a father. He's constantly getting into trouble. He falls in love, fights, gets expelled from class, receives disciplinary action at meetings, and almost gets kicked out of school. But he's not a crazy kid. Maybe that's why he's still considered a character beloved by the public.
